April 19, 2006 - As you can see from this photo Streamline Towers is excavating their site to prepare for building footings. On April 6th they signed a construction contract with Martin-Harris Construction so it looks like they are beginning construction. June 2, 2006- Streamline Tower reached its sales goals during their pre-construction push and they are now 50% sold out. This Friday, June 2, you can witness the 3rd largest continuous cement pour in Nevada history. Streamline Tower's foundation requires a continuous pour of 6,700 square yards of concrete. 350 cement trucks will be pouring for approximately 14 hours, at 5 pour stations, two at a time. This will be quite a feat, for both coordination and cement production. Talk about an up and coming neighborhood - Streamline Tower has a $13 billion renovation underway outside its doors - and your client doesn't even have to pay a LID! The street-scape for Fremont East begins in August, making it an enjoyable place to stroll, have dinner or drinks at a sidewalk cafe or socialize in a nightclub. Streamline Tower Developer: The Streamline Tower is captained by Mr. Patrick McCourt the CEO of Barclays North. Mr. McCourt has over thirty years of experience in real estate development. They are a builder with in-house services including: conceptual estimating; cost/value analysis; computerize scheduling and have contracting capabilities in concrete, carpentry and underground utilities. Martin-Harris Construction was founded by Mr. Frank Martin. The company has been in business in Las Vegas since 1976 and is a licensed by the Nevada State Contractor. Since its inception it has received general contracting licenses and completed projects in Arizona and California. They also hold contracting licenses in Utah and New Mexico. Martin-Harris Construction has grown in size and prominence in the Las Vegas Construction Industry and in 2003 its total construction volume was about $218 million.
