Green Valley Lofts Building Features
- Heat Mirror Technology - This technology will drastically reduce the summer heat and outside noise. Green Valley lofts will feature floor to ceiling windows and in order to reduce cooling costs this technology will be utilized. In additio, the windows will have canopies installed to further remove the amount of midday sun the makes its way into the condo. The glass will be specifically tuned to match our climate and needs in order to help it become an enviromental solution rather than a problem.
- Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic System - PV is a technology that converts sunlight directly into energy. The energy cells are completely emmisions free, quiet and because of the way the technology is set up, reduces dependance on the power grid. Buildings run by PV use the sun as their primary source of power with the grid for backup when needed.
- Energy Efficient Closet Type Water System - Climate master heat pumps are the choice for HVAC comfort. They are the highest efficiency water source heat pumps on the planet. This is one of the most enviromentally friendly technologies of its kind.
- Low Wattage Lighting - Low wattage bulbs are replacing old incandescent lighting everywhere. They last 6 to 10 times longer and use 1/3 the energy of conventional lighting.
- Energy Star Appliances - Energy Star Appliances have to meet strict energy use guidelines set by the US Enviromental Protection Agency and the US Department of Energy.
Green Valley Lofts Unit Features
- Tankless Water Heaters - Tankless water heaters are activated by water flow. When the water flows the heating elements are activated, the faster the flow the hotter the elements. It is energy efficient because once you turn the water off the element turns off there is no constant use. This also has a side benefit of meaning you will never run out of hot water.
- Whole House Filtration System - The whole house filtration system is a mass filtration system for the water in your home. This system can filter 400,000 gallons of water and will last the average household 4 to 5 years.
- Programmable Thermostats
- Zero VOC Non-Toxic Paint - Paint that has been tested and is approved enviromentally friendly.
- UltraTouch Cotton Non-Toxic Insulation - This is a Class A insulation material that uses natural fibers rather than glass. The natural fibers are treated with an EPA fungus inhibitor that offers excellent protection from fir, rot and pests.
- Bamboo Flooring - High quality bamboo flooring that meets even the strict E1 European standard this is the highest grade bamboo flooring available on the market.
