May 1, 2006 Centex Destination Properties have plans to break ground around next week on the 2,400-unit "Urban Village" mixed-use project located on Las Vegas Boulevard South and Pyle. Centex purchased the 50-acres and the project plans in December.

The brownstones will range from 938 to 2,225 sq. ft. with pricing from $375,000 to $795,000. The project will include brownstones, condo hotels and loft style homes, neighborhood residential retail with shops and restaurants, pools, walking paths, dog parks, rose garden and fitness facilities.

Reservations can be made with a refundable $5,000 deposit and will go to hard contract by late June at which time a balance of the 10% down payment will be due.

May 3, 2006- Urban Village opened to the public this week and already has reservations for the 212 brownstones in its first phase. Centex Destination Properties the developer of Urban Village has now released more inventory. Plans are for Centex to start moving dirt in mid-May

June 27, 2006- Urban Village by Centex Destination Properties is breaking ground today on phase one of its project. This phase will include 3 buildings, community pool, water feature, rose garden. Future phases will include retail shops and restaurants and more brownstone condo buildings.
