The W Las Vegas Hotel-Condo-Casino Developer Edge Group LLC is a development and investment company created in 2004 by Trevor Pearlman, Reagan Silber and Adam Frank . Edge Group is the parent company of Edge Resorts LLC, which has formed a partnership with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. to construct The "W" Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Residences. Edge Resorts currently owns 75% of Edge Resorts LLC while Starwood holds a 25% stake. W Hotels with 20 properties in the cities around the world. They are known for indulging their guests with thoughtful, stylish and refreshing experiences, luxury restaurants, bars and destination day spas, W has become one of the fastest growing luxury hotel brands in the world. Each hotel offers a special mix of design, comfort and cultural influences from fashion to art. New openings include W's Seoul Korea- Walkerhill and W Montreal Canada. W Residences, offer the W lifestyle at home and have been announced for Las Vegas. W has announced plans for hotels in the Hong Kong, Barcelona,Shanghai, Maldives and Dubai. The project's general contractor, M.J. Dean Construction, is one of Nevada's largest contractors, currently acting as general contractor on the construction of 18 hotel/casino projects, many of their projects have involved high profile Las Vegas mega-resorts including LUXOR, Mandalay Bay, Circus Circus, Monte Carlo, and Hard Rock. Klai Juba Architects of Las Vegas and Lacina Heitler Architects of New York City are co-designing the property. Klai Juba had their hands in many of Las Vegas' premier projects including Mandalay Bay Resort, Four Seasons Hotel, THE hotel at Mandalay Bay and Hard Rock Hotel. Charles Allem Designs are commissioned to design the projects interiors and condominium residences. Allem was recognized as one of the top 100 interior designers by Architectural Digest.
Residence owners have the option of placing their condo-hotel unit into a rental program, allowing owners to make their unit available through the hotel reservations department when they are not using it and share in the revenue that the unit generates.
