This 24-hour guard-gated and security patrolled community is located in the southwest corner of the valley and back on Federal high desert lands. This 1,300-acre community features its own 18 hole public golf course. Additional amenities include the R-Club a 34,000 sq. ft. recreation center for the residence exclusive use which includes; an exercise room, men's and women's steam rooms and locker rooms, two racquetball courts, billiard tables,meeting space, and a regulation basketball court. Work continues on the exterior, which is planned to include a lap pool, a lagoon pool, three spas, a water feature, tennis courts and a playground.
The subdivisions with in this community are: The Champions, The Tuscany's, The Lakes, The Links, Canyon Trails, Vistana. A water park is also planned.
Rhodes Ranch neighborhood is located in the south-western corner of the Las Vegas Valley and contains approximately 1,347 acres. It is general boarders are Sunset Road and the Southern I-215 Beltway on the north, Pebble on the south, with Durango to the east, and Fort Apache to the west.
The Rhodes Ranch neighborhood Plan was approved by the Clark County Commission in February 1997.
- Residential development area which includes a golf course - 1,082 acres
- Mixed Use-multi-family & limited commercial development area- 130 acres
- Neighborhood Shopping - 5 acres
- Community Shopping - 50 acres
- Town Center - 80 acres
The Rhodes Ranch neighborhood is limited to a maximum of 9,000 residential units, a golf course, and 350 acres for non-residential private uses, also included is a hotel/casino site.
The Rhodes Ranch Development Agreement requires provisions for certain public facilities, in addition to other infrastructure improvements including:
- Contribution of two elementary school sites
- Construction, equipment and dedication of a fire station
- Augmentation of maintenance and operation costs of the fire station for a period of up to 5 years
- 40 acres of neighborhood parks
As of 2002, some 3,200 residential units had been permitted.
This wonderful private golf community includes 24 hour guard station at the front gate as well as traveling security within the neighborhood.
