The Southwest Ranch Neigborhood is approximately 500 acres and is located between Maule Avenue and Russell Road and between Hualapai Way and Fort Apache Road within Spring Valley unincorporated area.

Development within this area is mostly comprised of single family traditional and compact lots with three apartment sites under construction and an approved commercial site at the southwest corner of Russell Road and Fort Apache. There is a dedicated a multi-use channel and park/trail through the community.

Southwest Ranch Neigborhood building permits issued include 748 single family and 278 multi-family residential units as of 2004.
