Max Sells Vegas.com is always interested in hearing from prospective link partners. We are looking for partners that can offer us, increased overall online prominence, mutual traffic and real value to our visitors.
 
The page where you place our link MUST adhere to the following guidelines , if not, unfortunately we cannot accept your link on this site.
 

Your link page MUST be Indexed by Google, No Exceptions. 

The page where you place our link must be cached by Google and the text must also cache.
 
Your site should be "On Theme" which means your website should fit into one of the categories in our directory and be "real estate" related.
 
No Pornography, Casino's, or POP UP's
No means no. You cannot LINK to these kinds of sites either. By you linking to "bad neighborhoods" and then we linking to you we threaten our own livelihood and we will not do that. A single home page pop-up might be ok as long as it is for a service or good that you are offering. No ads for other sites in the pop up.
 
No Affiliate sites
Affiliate sites take business away from real companies. You can have few affiliate ADS, but the whole purpose of your site should not be to push affiliate items. 
 

Links Page Must Link From The Index Page. 

The page where our link is located must be no deeper than 3 clicks from the home page. No fake index pages, redirected home pages, no doorway pages, etc..
 
No Numbered Links Pages
This means if you plan on putting us on resources-3.html do not bother emailing us. We will not reciprocate. There is currently way too much evidence that yahoo is completely devaluing numbered links pages, and rightfully so. Our directory is as much for our visitors as it is for our rankings. If your just trying to manipulate the search engines the please go somewhere else, not here.
 
If you remove my link from your Page without notice
If my link on your site is ever removed without notification, your link will be removed from this site and will be disqualified from future addition. And, at my discretion, other links from the same webmaster or linkmaster may be removed and/or disqualified.
 
No more than 90 links per page total 
We keep our directory pages to 50, however while creating a second page if we feel there is a need we MAY go to 60.
 

No link fraud or scamming! 

This would include, but not limited to:

• .aspx pages with URL's that include "=?" or other non-text crawl able coding


• Links on pages that do not tie to your base URL


• Links hidden within scripts


• Links on subdomain pages


• Pages where you have "nocache" in the meta tags


• Your not using the supplied anchor text


• You plan on offering one page and then move us to another


• We do not accept links on framed pages


• Our link with “rel=nofollow: tags embedded in the link text.


• We do not accept links on pages that are restricted with “Disallow:” in the robots.txt file.


• No java text links.


• Any other scheme or deceptive practice a web site owner may dream up to steal PR from our site and not return it in good faith on your site.  
  

Basically we ask that you offer the same value in a link back that we offer.
If you can't offer us a honest quality link, please don't waste your time or ours. You business ethics are not the type of company we wish to put in our directory. We have many other sites with different IP's in the real estate industry that are just as strong and have ethics, therefore, we will exchange links with them.

What am I doing to my links pages?

• I have added the directory index to the bottom of my home page to increase its importance.
  
• I am eliminating pages with numbers in their titles and URL's.
  
• I am re-organizing my links directory and eliminating the word "LINKS" from it.
  
• I am adding custom information to each page on my links directory that is helpful for the visitor and make the page more valuable to the search engines.
  
• I am getting links from other sites that point to my links pages, such as a link to my Arizona links page. In this way the search engines will see its importance and include it in their search results.
  
• I am keeping the number of links on each page below 50 so that my pages do not look like a link farm.
  
• I am organizing my links pages in a way that is logical for the visitor and search engines to find information they want.
  
• I am organizing my site map so that your link is no more than 2 clicks from my home page.

Recently I have been reading several articles by Search Engine Optimization (SEO) professionals on the subject of linking.

For a while now some, so called, SEO's have been saying that exchanging links is no longer valid with Google. But if you look at the top listings in the field of real estate you will find that most still have a huge link exchange campaigns. These sites have found that not only exchanging links with other websites is useful with Google and Yahoo but that they also receive quality visitors from these websites. The SEO's that have been preaching dump your links pages seem to all have secret ways of getting one way links to your sites that they will be happy to charge you large sums of money for. POPPY COCK!

If you read SEO articles that have been in the business and need not expand their client base they all are saying that exchanging links is still, and will always be valuable. Exchange links with sites that are in the same topic as yours (in our case "real estate'). It seems that they are all certain that this is the best way to make your site climb in the search engines.

1) Vary your hyperlinked titles.
2) Don't forget to exchange links using some of your more important pages besides your front entry page.
3) Make sure that your title is hyperlinked, as a www.your_site.com/ will do almost nothing for you with the search engines.
4) Eliminate links pages on your site that are numbered (links 1, links 2, resources 1, California 2, or just 1, 2, etc.) Yahoo has devalued such page names and it appears that Goggle is delisting many of these pages. The theory is that if its not important enough to your web site to have a valuable resource to your visitors with organized pages then how is a visitor to find what they need on the pages? Therefore the page has little or no value. But remember the page has direct bearing on which link partners will be willing to link to you so a properly layed out directory is VERY important to your success!
5) Remember to place links on your site that are only related to your real estate industry. Gambling and pharmacy sites that appear on your links pages will hurt you, not help you.
